DAVID R. DRAKE, AIA, LEED AP
PRESIDENT & CEO, PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
Dave received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rice University in 1970 and his PA registration in 1975. He shares with his colleagues and clients over forty years of award-winning experience as an Architectural Designer. In addition to extensive experience serving as Project Manager / Principal-in-Charge for major projects, Dave has been directly responsible for the Architectural Design of many of W2A’s major and successful projects. He also offers extensive expertise in master planning, facilities planning, feasibility studies, space planning and furnishings specifications for educational, municipal, corporate, industrial and institutional facilities.
Dave has served the profession and the community through numerous organizations including the AIA Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, AIA Pennsylvania, the College Hill Conservation District Task Force, the City of Easton Planning Commission and Lehigh Valley Children’s Centers.
Dave has been with W2A for 43 years and has been a Principal since 1987. He became President and CEO in 2010. Dave enjoys traveling and a good glass of wine. He lives in Easton with his wife and three Maine Coon cats.
GLENN E. LICHTENWALNER, AIA, NCARB
PRINCIPAL, CHIEF ARCHITECT
Glenn has over thirty years of professional experience in a wide range of building types, including civic / government, religious, educational, corporate, industrial, institutional, and healthcare facilities. He joins W2A in 1995, was named Principal and Executive Vice President in 2006, and Chief Operating Officer in 2010. Glenn is Principal in Charge of Projects and is also responsible for the management and administration of the Architectural Staff.
Glenn serves on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic American Organization, Allentown, PA, and the Lehigh County Conference of Churches, and is the Building Committee Chairman for Jordan UCC in Allentown, and was named a Citizen Architect by the AIA Eastern PA Chapter.
An outdoor enthusiast, Glenn and his wife, parents of two grown children, now enjoy a quiet home with their collie Jackson. Occasionally a staff member needs to remind Glenn when it’s time to take a break from saving the world and go skiing.
CHRISTINE DeOLIVEIRA CARL, AIA, LEED AP
VICE PRESIDENT & ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL / PROJECT ARCHITECT
Christine offers over 30 years of professional experience as a Project Architect, Project Manager and Project Designer. Since joining W2A in 1994, she has served primarily in the role of Project Manager for a wide variety of educational, religious, institutional, healthcare and governmental projects. As such, she is responsible for day-to-day supervision and coordination of the project and adherence to project budgets and schedules, as well as quality control. Ms. Carl is also heavily involves herself in presentations to prospective clients.
Christine was named an Associate Principal of W2A in 2007. She served four years as an officer of the AIA Eastern PA Chapter. Additionally, served two terms on the Pennsylvania Architects Licensure Board, including four years as Board President. Christine serves on the Facilities Committee for St. Ann School in Emmaus, and was named a Citizen Architect by the AIA Eastern PA Chapter.
Christine and her husband live outside of Emmaus with their teenage son and pampered kitty Paulie. They also have a daughter attending Temple University, Christine’s alma mater. An amateur silversmith, Christine also knows how to bake a mean cupcake. And some pretty swell brownies, too.
JAMES E. MILFORD
MANAGER OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
James is W2A’s “go-to” man, responsible for not only assisting in Architectural Design, coordinating W2A’s construction drawings, and creating many of W2A’s 3-D color renderings, but also is W2A’s in-house “I-T Guy”. Additionally, he performs all in-house computer training, manages all hardware and software systems, and is often the voice you’ll hear answering the phone. James joined W2A immediately following graduation in 2000 from Lincoln Technical Institute, and has been involved in almost all of the projects that have crossed our computer screens since then.
James is a proud supporter and season ticket-holder of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. In addition to being a huge hockey fan, James is also quite the music aficionado and history buff.
Anthony Gallucci
ARCHITECTURAL DETAILER
Anthony assists in the Architectural Design process by coordinating W2A’s construction drawings. He joined W2A as an intern in early 2016 and immediately following graduation from Northampton Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Architecture in 2016, Anthony joined our team full-time. Anthony is currently still enrolled at Northampton Community College and plans to complete a second AAS degree in Interior Design. He then will move forward with his education to earn a Bachelor in Architecture.
Breanne Hill, ASID
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Breanne, ASID, is responsible for defining user needs, space planning and the selection of color and finish material for various project assignments, both new design and renovation / addition work. She assists Principal and Senior / Project Managers in site surveys and execution of project drawings and specifications. She works in AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp and utilizes past experiences with clients to ensure an understanding of their design concepts. Having four years prior experience in the industry, she recently joined W2A in 2017.
Breanne earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2012. After a few years as a product sales representative for Sherwin-Williams Paint Stores Group, Breanne enrolled and has since graduated from Northampton Community College with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Interior Design.
