W2A Design Group redesigned the interiors of the 95,000+ SF corporate headquarters building. Work included selection of new finish materials (carpets, other flooring, window blinds, paint, ceiling tile, etc.) and selection of new furnishings throughout. The Crayola brand was incorporated into the design scheme via use of crayon colors and use of “lifestyle” photographs. The design intent was for the space to be a “celebration of color.”In the open office areas, existing office workstations are being replaced with new lower workstations, creating a more casual work environment conducive to teaming. High vertical / lateral files were removed from the building to provide more light and a sense of openness to the center office spaces. Lower file cabinets, where retained, were repainted. Perimeter private offices were redesigned with glazing on front faces to provide borrowed light and a sense of openness to the interior open office spaces.
The Boardroom was renovated in a very limited time frame. In the Boardroom, new tempered glass “whiteboards” were provided, along with new finishes, furnishings, window coverings and corporate branding and graphics.
